CHEESEBURGER!!!


who can say anything about this burger???
yes I'm avare that, I'm on a diet..
but ...


 ingredients

I know that everybody knows what's in it but, anyway :))
*1 big meatball
* 2 pcs sliced pickle
* 1 slice of tomamto
* 2 pcs of cheddar cheese
* small pieces of green salad
* fried potatoes...


Preparation

*Cook the meatballs in the pan
*Add the cheddar cheese on top of the meatball
* but everyting on the top of each other, stack them
* Fry the potates

and serve them just like in the picture...

starting a new week...

Now, the time is 08:54 am in İstanbul,Turkey.
I just sit on my table, and start to organize the day and the whole week..
By the way, my new motivation book is "enerjik yaratıcılık" means ; Kick-Ass Creativity: An Energy Makeover for Artists, Explorers and Creative Proffessionals..
So far so good..
I will write my comments after finishing it!!

Etli Kereviz Çorbası / Celery Soup with meat

malzemeler / ingredients

*200 gr. kuzu kuşbaşı / 200grms lamb-cut in small chunks
*1 adet kuru soğan / 1 piece onion
*2 adet kereviz / 2 pcs of celery
*4 diş sarmısak / 4 cloves of garlic
* 1 kaşık acı biber salçası / 1 table spoon of red paper and tomato paste
* 8 bardak su / 8 glasses of water
* tuz- karabiber / salt and black pepper


hazırlanışı / preparation

* soğan ve sarmısağı kavurun / saute onion and garlic 
* etleri ekleyin ve suyunu bırakıp çekene kadar soteleyin / add meat and saute until teh water evaporates 
*salçayı ekleyim ve 5 dk kavurun / add tomato paste and cook for 5 minutes
* tüm suyu ekleyin ve etler yumuşayana kadar pişirin / add the water and cook until tender meats of all
* kerevizleri doğrayın / chop the celery
* kerevizleri, tuz ve karabiberi ekleyin / add celery, salt and pepper
* ateşi kısın ve 30 dk pişmeye bırakın / reduce heat and let cook for 30 minutes

Post on my vacation to Alexandroupoli, Greece...

There is a difference between "Easter date for Orthodox" and "Easter date for Armenian and the whole World". Every 4 years this timeing is changing, such as, this year the difference is  5 weeks, next year this will be 3 weeks, the year after that it will be 1 week and finally the 4. year, the Easter will be exact same date!! :))
This may cause -for me- very funny and various religion holidays; I'm Armenian, my husband is gerek, my mother-in-low is Macedonian, and we all live in Turkey ( majority of the population is Muslim) ...
I love this mixture....

BARBUNYA ÇORBASI / BEAN SOUP


BARBUNYA ÇORBASI  / BEAN SOUP

malzemeler / ingredients

*1,5 su bardağı barbunya 1.5 cups of bean
*2 ad kuru soğan 2 pcs onions
*1 diş sarmısak1 clove of garlic 
*5 bardak su  5 glas of water
*1 tavuk bulyon / 1 chicken bouillon
*4 çorba kaşığı zeytinyağı / 4 tablespoons of olive oil
*1 çay bardağı taze kıyılmış nane/ 1 cup of  chopped fresh mint
*1 tatlı kaşığı fesleğen / 1 teaspoon of basil
*tuz-taze çekilmiş karabiber / Salt and black pepper



 hazırlanışı  / preparation 

*barbunyayı bir gece önceden suda bekletin / leave the beans into the water for a night before
*derince bir tencerede barbunyaları haşlayın /  boiled  the beans in the pot with full of water
*suyunu süzün / drain the beans
*barbunyaları kenara alın / keep them wait aside
*aynı tencerede zeytinyağı ile küü doğranmış soğanları ve sarmısağı kavurun 
/ put chopped onions and garlic in the same pot and saute with olive oil 
*barbunyayı, suyu ve tavuk bulyonu ekleyin / add beans, water and chicken boullion
*tüm baharatları ekleyip 30 dk pişirin / than add all the spices and cook for 30 minutes 
*piştikten sonra el blender'ı ile pürüzsüz hale getirin
 / after it is cooked make a smooth with hand blender
